1. Generally, keep the lens in a horizontal plane approximately level with the subject's eyeline.
2. Don't use excessive zoom movements.
3. Make sure that the subject is lit from the front and for an outdoor shot ensure that the sun is neither behind the subject nor in his/her eyes.
4. Above all, the subject should be relaxed and having a fun time.
